Sitefinity6.2 Focuses on Improved Admin Interfaces for Digital Marketers

Sitefinity is one of those web content management solutions that supports a large developer community, but also understands that business users/digital marketers need the right tools with easy to use interfaces to build great digital experiences. The recent release of Sitefinity 6.2 is further proof that there is a need for easy to use administrative interfaces. In this release, you will find a few new things:

  1. Edit your content within the context of the website — known as inline editing. This comes via a new HTML5 browser interface.
  2. An updated Google Analytics module which takes advantage of the features of HTML5. View analytics of a web page while you are editing it — this is actually a nice feature that helps you quickly see if a page is working or not.
  3. A dynamic administration dashboard which can be customized by a user to show the things they need at a glance. The dashboard is integrated with Google Analytics, so you can quickly pull up the metrics you are most interested in seeing.

These look like small changes, but good things often come in small packages. And I suspect that many Sitefinity users will be happy to leverage these new features, especially if it helps them work more efficiently.

This latest update adds to other recent updates for version 6.2 — the Marketo and Salesforce connectors.
