There’s something about a new year that makes everyone want to start fresh, whether that’s getting back to basics or trying new things. And of course we’ll spend the better part of January hearing predictions for the coming year. This week is the first 2014 installment of our Flipboard magazine Digital Experiences Weekly.
In it, we tried not to fill your time with predictions, but instead point to a predictions round up piece Barb wrote on InsideCXM.com – there’s plenty of predictions/plans in that industry round-up.
We also point to some late December acquisition news including Oracle and Responsys, and Upland Software and Clickability. Robert Rose had an interesting perspective on WCM that noted the Clickability acquisition. His point is that WCM is not dead, but it’s in dire need of some changes. His points were surprisingly refreshing, and gave us some great ideas for future pieces here.
There’s also a piece on some sponsored advertising changes coming soon, and piece on who is using social media and when, as well a look at online advertising overall.
On Digital Tech Diary, we published a great interview with Loni Kao Stark on Customer Experience in 2014, definitely worth a read. We also spoke with a couple of other people on the topic of what’s in the planning for 2014, stay tuned for those next week.
Next week is our official kick off for 2014 on the site, expect much more content. We have a new look and feel (a work in progress) which we hope you find easier to navigate. And please, when you stop by, sign-up for our newsletter – we have some great plans in store that you will appreciate.
Have a great weekend!
