It’s A Wrap: The Ever Expanding Capabilities of Digital Experience

Time to check out this week’s must read articles on Digital Experience. Twitter’s IPO kicked off this week. Interesting that at the same time a report comes out that indicates that digital marketers might not be all that happy with the social network. We also covered Webtrends latest updates which included Lifetime Streams and a big data analysis tool. DXP_Nov7_2013
Forrester has a new report out questioning the need for a Chief Digital Officer, and Adobe launched mobile services for the Marketing Cloud (note we talked to Adobe this week, so expect to hear more news from them very soon).

There’s an article in the magazine that talks about how you can’t fake good content marketing, a topic near to my heart as it pays the bills right now. Content Marketing encompasses a lot of things and based on my experience managing CMSWire and dealing with guest contributions, many organizations still don’t understand what it really is about. I’m currently reading Joe Pulizzi’s Epic Content Marketing and will be doing a review, but I suggest you get this book, it’s packed with great information.

Check out the Digital Experience Flipboard magazine, and please subscribe so I know you are getting value from it. It’s actually updated daily with news, research and insights that catch my attention throughout the week.
