It’s a Wrap: Influencer Marketing – Do You Get It?

DEW_Nov15Another week has gone by, we’re half way through November and I have ONE Christmas gift bought…[big sigh here]. But that’s okay, because I’m learning lots of new things everyday about building digital experiences and I love it.

This week’s magazine takes a look at Influencer Marketing – fun slideshare from Mark Fidelman hits the point home. It is a great way to get the word out on your product/service, so check that out.

Also for marketers, a look at the benefits of PR, how news is viewed across social media, and a little understanding on the tough time defining ROI even though it’s directly related to compensation.

I also heard about the new Data Science program that will take place on Udacity and I think it’s a great idea.

This week I covered a few news stories, starting with Adobe Social’s latest updates. All them are great, but I was honestly very interested in the Competitive Analysis report.

Then there was MindTouch’s new connector that will integrate its social publishing knowledge base with CRM solutions and other customer management platforms. And finally Vidyard launched a video management app on the Saleforce AppExchange and I had a question – do we really need a Chief Video Officer?

Be sure to weigh in on that! As I settle in to my new life as a true entrepreneur with Digital Tech Diary, I’m working hard to define the path this magazine will take. And that path has a lot to do with what my audience needs.
