I spent a fair amount of time reading and thinking about digital analytics this week. And I had an interesting discussion with Jeff Seacrist from Webtrends (details to come next week). To wrap it up, I read a great article on Adobe’s blog about “customer analytics”. What I am finding? There’s a lot of great technology out there to help organizations better understand what’s happening on their digital properties, but we have a long way to go before we see the majority of these orgs fully realize the value of that information.
A report is great, nice stats (or not so nice stats), great visualizations, but what does it mean? How does a marketer take all that insight and make it actionable? I would love to talk to some organizations that are making their analytics actionable. There are lessons to be learned from those who have had success, and seen failure. So if you know someone who wants to share their story, .
Of course, much more was written and happened in digital experience business this week. I’ve packaged up the things that caught my attention in the Digital Experience Flipboard magazine.
Some of these include:
There’s more though, so check out. I’ve kept the older articles in place. As the magazine builds I’ll clean out the older material that is no longer necessary to read (I’m thinking news in this case).
Please subscribe to the magazine and let me know what you think of it, if there’s any particular type of content you want to see included. Expect to read some articles on this site next week. As the plan takes shape, so too will the content.
