Ensighten Inform Pulls Together Monitoring, Testing, Tag Deployment

We know Ensighten best for its tag management platform, but now it’s adding to its family with a new solution – Ensighten Inform.

Ensighten Inform brings together the monitoring, testing and management of tags into a single place – something that should make the marketing team happy.

It’s true there is often IT involvement required to help monitor websites and make sure that tags are not breaking anything, but one would hope that dropping a tag on a website would be clearly thought out and not done in a way that could cause issues. This is often not the case though.

Personally I think you need a good mix of IT and marketing people to get everything working right. But, when IT is busy, or you want to see the results of your tagging processes immediately, having direct access to tools that can test and monitor your webpages is a smart idea.

Ensighten Inform is available as part of Ensighten Manage, the platform that enables you to create, manage and deploy tags on your web properties.

With Ensighten Inform you get three types of testing:

  • Web Page Testing: Test your tag deployments on a page, including syntax testing and tag code validity.
  • Performance Testing: Find out how your tag deployments are affecting the performance of your pages, including page load times and connection times.
  • Critical Path Testing: Define functionality on your website that is “critical” such as registrations or checkouts and set up testing to ensure these paths are performing as expected.

Ensighten Inform is now in limited release with a number of Ensighten customers. General availability is expected this September.
