Coveo Offers Free Edition of Search Solution for Sitecore Customers

At the Sitecore Symposium in Las Vegas this week Coveo offered Sitecore customers some good news. Along with its Coveo for Sitecore – Enterprise Edition, Coveo now provides a free edition of its search solution for Sitecore.

This free edition is fully integrated into the Sitecore platform allowing marketers to configure and manage dynamic search experiences directly through the Sitecore management console and tools. Coveo is currently the only third-party search engine that is fully integrated with Sitecore (Sitecore also offers its own search engine and integrates with other search vendors).

For those customers who want to customize their search experience, there is a Javascript interface that provides access to Coveo’s framework and components. In addition, there is an analytics dashboard that comes with the integration that enables marketers to not only see how search is being used, but take action directly to tune the relevance engine.

The Enterprise Edition, released in May of this year, connects to the Sitecore Experience Database (xDB) to create personalized search experiences.
